Lobby Renovation — March 16–April 30, 2018
The Reception Center will undergo renovation to refresh the check-in facility, the Sundries Store, and Guest lobby area. During this project, the check-in desk will be relocated to the porte cochere and will maintain current hours to assist Guests as needed. The Sundries Store will not be available during the project. Additionally, the public computers and Business Center will not be available during the renovation.
Multi-Year Maintenance Project – through October 2018
Harborside Resort at Atlantis has a multi-year villa refurbishment and maintenance project underway that will continue through 2018. One building at a time will be closed for refurbishment. We do not anticipate that any of the planned projects will affect the resort’s amenities or impact the vacation experience of our Guests.
United States citizens traveling between the United States and the Bahamas, regardless of age, are required to show a passport to re-enter the United States.
The food and beverage outlets at Atlantis, Paradise Island, operate cashless. The resort will authorize an initial credit card deposit equal to $100 per day at check-in. Additional authorizations will be obtained as required throughout the stay. As of January 2015, the Bahamian government has implemented the VAT, a new type of consumption tax charged at 7.5% on most goods and services that businesses provide in the Bahamas, including, but not limited to, credit card deposit, housekeeping services and internet charges. VAT is also charged on goods and certain services imported from outside the Bahamas.
