Once home to the ancient Hohokam Indians, this 21,099-acre park now offers more than 50 miles of biking, hiking and horseback-riding trails to millions of visitors each year. Trails range in elevation and difficulty while reaching elevations as high as 3,000 feet.

Instead of the more popular Camelback hike we hike Tom Thumb! Very few hikers and great views. Also hiked the Lookout Mtn trail and we were the only ones! What a way to be one with the mountain.
