I highly recommend this breathtaking adventure. We drove ourselves but joining a tour would be better. It was hard looking at all the beautiful waterfalls and views while driving. Leave the driving to someone else and relax.

Take the time to research all the stops along the way and choose which ones you think you will enjoy before you go. There are many beautiful waterfalls, but make sure to save time and energy for the 2 mile hike at the end located in the Crater National Park. It is a beautiful hike through bamboo forests and ends with an amazing waterfall.
The road to Hana is a must for your Maui experience. This road is scary but so worth the journey! It is best to hit the road at sunset because this will take all of your day. You will see countless waterfalls along the way, a few scenic hikes, and a few local food stands. The fresh pineapple is always amazing. Once to Hana we stopped and enjoyed the beach, then headed on to Red Beach. The hike in is a bit scary, so make sure everyone is able bodied for this. But once there it is breathtaking!

Download an App on your phone and drive. Plenty of opportunity for stops along the way. Bamboo forest was a site to see followed by giant waterfall.

My team of island experts is here to personally assist you with the very best local recommendations.
