Our resort is located directly on the breathtaking white sands of world-famous Kā‘anapali Beach. This west-facing strand is a prime spot to watch the sun descend into the Pacific. A main attraction on the beach’s north end is a nightly sunset ceremony, where a cliff diver climbs Pu‘u Keka‘a (Black Rock), lights torches along the bluffs and plunges into the sea to honor the heritage of King Kahekili, the last chief of Maui.
Snorkeling and diving are top-notch, with clear visibility for viewing colorful coral, sea turtles and countless varieties of fish. Two full-service water sports centers are located at the North and South pool areas to assist with snorkeling, snuba, scuba, paddle boarding or any one of the other unforgettable excursions and water sports waiting for you.

On our 50th wedding anniversary with our family, 12 of us in all, we especially enjoyed the wonderful beaches. Went to the beach every day and loved that we could walk from our beautiful Villa right onto the beach. Will be coming back.

I would like to recommend the snorkeling in Maui. Just out your door at the Westin Kaanapali Beach are great snorkeling areas. We always take our snorkeling gear and snorkel off the coast.

I would suggest your stay start with something simple and close. The Long beach out back of the hotel is Bliss.

I would like to recommend the Scuba Diving at the Kaanapali Beach at the resort. You get a chance to practice in the pool before heading out into the ocean. The staff was awesome to work with.
