There are a few of my favorites located near the resort that you should check out. 808 Grindz Cafe is about 10 minutes from the resort. You’ll find tasty eats for breakfast and lunch, including the house-made macadamia-nut sauce or coconut sauce drizzled over pancakes and waffles. The prices are just right and the food is delicious.
Aloha Mixed Plate perfectly pairs affordable authentic food items with an even better view. It’s also a 10-minute drive from the resort, so you can easily pop over for breakfast, lunch or dinner. A little more on the trendy side is Star Noodle, serving fresh house-made noodles and Asian specialties for lunch and dinner. It’s a small space, so be sure to make a reservation or expect to wait.
Literally off the path leading to our sister resort next door, you’ll find Pailolo, an open-air sports bar with a food-truck-style kitchen. The menu takes an eclectic twist on food truck classics, while featuring products indigenous to Maui. It’s also a popular spot to catch your favorite sporting events and live music.

"The freshest fish on Maui"
I would like to recommend the Paia Fish Market for the freshest fish meals on Maui. Before the Lahaina location opened, we would always drive over to Paia to eat at the restaurant at least two times during our visit to Maui. It was well worth the drive there. Now with the Lahaina location, we eat at the Paia Fish Market at least 3 times during our stay. It has the best selection of fresh caught fish prepared many different ways at very reasonable prices. Great food, drinks and atmosphere.
