If you prefer to get out into nature and explore at your own pace, you may want to check out the Coachella Valley’s popular Bump-n-Grind hiking trail. In contrast to most of the other trails in the area, this one starts out narrow, but widens as it leads up from the valley floor. You’ll reach an elevation that lends itself to breathtaking views of Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage and the Coachella Valley.
When you come, make sure you’re ready for a workout. As popular as it is challenging, you’ll likely meet other hikers along the trail looking for some great cardio. Keep in mind that dogs are not allowed along the trail in order to help maintain the natural habitat.

Especially when spring fdesert flowers bloom there are amazing hiking trails. Where Indian Canyon trail follows the stream Bighorn Sheep come down from the hills to drink. Lots of palms on the way!
