The Hawaii Governor’s office continues to strongly discourage nonessential travel to West Maui, currently through October 7 at which point travel restrictions will be lifted and West Maui open to visitors again. The Hawai’i Tourism Authority, in alignment with the Hawaii governor, urges visitors to refrain from going to West Maui (including Lahaina, Napili, Ka’anapali, and Kapalua).
