Did you know that Hawaiians have used kayaks as transportation for centuries? In the spirit of Hawaiian tradition, come explore the rivers and sea by kayak. As you navigate yourself around the island, your destination is up to you. I have always enjoyed how kayaking offers the possibility to enter beautiful areas of the island that would otherwise be unreachable.
We are more than happy to assist you in renting all the gear you will need for this excursion; and to help you plan your route. After a morning of exercise, let us recommend a local restaurant where you can experience the island’s culture over a well-earned lunch.

This is a must. You can rent the kayaks right on the river, just make sure you make reservations. You can hike to the hidden waterfall or go to an area where you can jump off the bank into the river. The fern grotto is also fun to see.

Lovely kayak trip at a good pace with local relaxed guides. We kayaked and hiked which can be muddy in the wet season. We recommend Wailua Kayak Adventures
