Coba was one of the largest ancient Mayan cities spanning approximately 50 miles. It’s about a half-hour drive from Tulum and offers an abundance of jungle adventure. You can climb the highest Mayan pyramid, Nohuch Mul, 130 feet to enjoy amazingly expansive views. Miles and miles of trails will beckon you to explore by foot, bike or even by a hired Pedi cab driver. You’re sure to see plenty of wildlife along your way, like tropical birds and monkeys, who make their home in the lushest part of the jungle.
