Cancún's year-round tropical climate makes it the perfect home base for Mexico's native black iguana. As you explore the area, you'll notice they are comfortable roaming the grounds and doing some exploring of their own. Iguanas are excellent climbers, and prefer rocky habitats with plenty of crevices to hide in, rocks to bask on and nearby trees to climb. They are primarily herbivorous, eating flowers, leaves, stems and fruit.
During your stay, you'll have the opportunity to meet and feed a few of the friendlier iguanas while learning more about these fun and fascinating creatures.
Children must be in Westin Family Kids Club to participate.
