While peak flower season is June through August, this beautiful alpine treasure is open daily from dusk to dawn. Set 8,200 feet high against the backdrop of Colorado’s soaring Gore Range, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens is the world’s highest botanical garden. Summer guided tours, children’s programs, celebrations of art and food and even yoga entertain more than 100,000 visitors annually. Come to experience its amazing array of perennial beds, waterfalls and the world’s most unique high-elevation plants.

Vistana Community Member "Beautiful gardens!!" — 02/08/2018 "Beautiful gardens!!" 02/08/2018 Every time we go to the Avon area we go to the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens. Beautiful flowers, hummingbirds and butterflies. Great gift shop with reasonable items that are very unique. Have lunch in Vail village. This is a must see.
