Car rental services and taxis are available on St. John and at the resort. If you plan to rent a car, we recommend that you do so on St. John, as the car barges running between St. Thomas and St. John are smaller and run less frequently than prior to the storm. The Westin® ferry service is running on a modified schedule (PDF) and includes unlimited travel from the resort to St. Thomas, including shopping trips with taxi service to the market.
Snorkels now offers three meals daily, serving breakfast from 7–10 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. and dinner from 5–9 p.m. It is the only operational restaurant on property. Mango Deli has reopened in its original location and offers breakfast sandwiches, light fare, and sundries. Villa prestock service is now available online and will be served from Mango Deli. There are many restaurants at nearby Cruz Bay, or if you prefer to prepare your meals in the privacy of your villa, the local markets are fully stocked.
Some Cruz Bay restaurants close during the late summer and fall seasons. Both the front office and Concierge have an updated list of the local restaurant schedules. Another dining option is to take the Westin ferry over to St. Thomas to enjoy its abundant culinary offerings. With the Westin ferry you can leave the resort on the 5 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. ferry run, enjoy dinner, and return on the 9:30 p.m. trip.
Please note that all outlets for food and beverage and resort activities operate cashless.
The USVI government assesses a US$25 per-night, per-villa Environmental/Infrastructure Impact Fee to vacation ownership Guests, implemented in 2016. This fee is based on the villa being occupied and will be added to the Guest folio at checkout.
Please be advised that effective Jan. 1, 2021, the U.S. Virgin Islands will be restricting the sale and distribution of reef-damaging topical sunscreen products containing oxybenzone and octinoxate (Bill No. 33‑0043). Only licensed pharmacies or drugstores will be able to dispense these sunscreen products. Use is prohibited unless prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider.
