Friendship Rewards Program

Details of Participation

The Friendship Rewards Program® is offered by Vistana™ Signature Experiences, Inc. (“Vistana”) and its affiliates, and is subject to the following details of participation. Participation in the Friendship Rewards Program is voluntary, and by participating, you agree to all of the program’s details of participation and give Vistana permission to reference your name and ownership to your Guest(s) in connection with any offer Vistana may extend to your Guest(s).

TERM OF PROGRAM

The Friendship Rewards Program is effective July 15, 2013, and ends on Dec. 31, 2022. Vistana reserves the right to change the rules and regulations, as well as supplement, terminate or extend the Friendship Rewards Program at any time without notice.

OWNER ELIGIBILITY

You may participate in the Friendship Rewards Program if you own a Vacation Ownership Interest at any Vistana resort, and you are in good standing (all maintenance fees and taxes are paid and up to date; Maintenance Fee Credits or points will not be applied retroactively).

GUEST ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility for Owner Rewards is limited to your Guest(s) who purchase at any of the following villa resorts:

Harborside Resort at Atlantis, Paradise Island, The Bahamas; Sheraton Kauai Resort, Koloa, Kaua’i, HI; Sheraton Lakeside Terrace VIllas at Mountain Vista, Avon/Vail, CO; Sheraton Broadway Plantation, Myrtle Beach, SC; Sheraton Desert Oasis, Scottsdale, AZ; Sheraton Mountain Vista, Avon/Vail, CO; Sheraton PGA Vacation Resort, Port St. Lucie, FL; Sheraton Steamboat Resort Villas, Steamboat Springs, CO; Sheraton Vistana Resort, Orlando, FL; Sheraton Vistana Villages, Orlando, FL; Vistana Beach Club, Jensen Beach, FL; The Westin Resort & Spa, Cancún, Cancún, Mexico; The Westin Desert Willow Villas, Palm Desert, Palm Desert, CA; The Westin Kā‘anapali Ocean Resort Villas, Lāhainā, Maui, HI; The Westin Kā‘anapali Ocean Resort Villas North, Lāhainā, Maui, HI; The Westin Kierland Villas, Scottsdale/Phoenix, AZ; The Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort, Cancún, Mexico; The Westin Los Cabos Resort Villas & Spa, Los Cabos, Mexico; The Westin Mission Hills Resort Villas, Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, CA; The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas, Lāhainā, Maui, HI; The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas, Princeville, Kaua’i, HI; The Westin Riverfront Mountain Villas, Avon/Vail, CO; The Westin St. John Resort Villas, St. John, U.S.V.I. (the “Resorts” or, individually, the “Resort”).

Referral Guests are eligible only if:

  1. You have provided their names and telephone numbers prior to them responding to any company-sponsored marketing program, prior to them being booked for a preview and sales presentation and/or prior to their Vacation Ownership Interest purchase. Remember, if you are traveling on your ownership week with your friends, or if they are traveling without you, you must register them prior to their arrival to qualify them as eligible referrals.   2. They are not already villa resort Owners. If their name appears on purchase documents, the Guest is not qualified.
  3. They meet the eligibility requirements, including any requirement to attend a sales presentation, as Vistana may require from time to time.

In the event of a duplicate referral, the points or Maintenance Fee Credits will be issued to the Owner that first registered the referral as part of the program. Owner referrals remain active for 24 months after being registered with the program. If the referral does not purchase within this time, the referral will be removed from the program.

OWNER REWARDS

You will only obtain Maintenance Fee Credits or points for a Guest who has not accepted a Vistana-sponsored offer to preview the Resort before you have provided their name and telephone number. If you have provided the name and telephone number of a Guest who purchases a Vacation Ownership Interest at a Resort and closes the purchase (pays the full down payment, has all contractual rescission periods pass, and has made at least one (1) mortgage/note payment), you are entitled to receive:

For Annual Purchases: Your choice of 400 Maintenance Fee Credits or 60,000 points. For Every Other Year Purchases (EOY): Your choice of 200 Maintenance Fee Credits or 30,000 points.

Exclusive for Elite Members Only

Three-Star Elite: Your choice of 400 Maintenance Fee Credits or 90,000 points. EOY: Your choice of 200 Maintenance Fee Credits or 45,000 points.

Four-Star Elite: Your choice of 400 Maintenance Fee Credits or 105,000 points. EOY: Your choice of 200 Maintenance Fee Credits or 52,500 points.

Five-Star Elite: Your choice of 400 Maintenance Fee Credits or 120,000 points. EOY: Your choice of 200 Maintenance Fee Credits or 60,000 points.

Points are the default reward for all Owners unless otherwise specified upon registration.

You may also be offered other incentives from time to time, at the discretion of Vistana. All Guests must have closed on their Vacation Ownership Interest on or before Dec. 31, 2022. Guests acquiring a Vacation Ownership Interest from anyone other than Vistana, or purchasing an Encore Package, would not qualify an Owner for any Maintenance Fee Credits or Marriott Bonvoy™ Points. Purchase of a resale property, by a referral, does not qualify. Owners are limited to receiving credit for a maximum of 20 Guests who purchase during any 12-month period. Taxes relating to credits provided to an Owner, if any, are solely the Owner’s responsibility.

USE OF POINTS

Use of Marriott Bonvoy Points is subject to the standard terms and conditions of Marriott Bonvoy™. Terms and conditions of the program can be viewed at marriottbonvoy.com and are subject to change without notice. Points have no cash value. All awarded points must be redeemed within six (6) years of being deposited into member’s account. Any points not redeemed by that time will be forfeited.

USE OF RESORT MAINTENANCE FEE CREDITS

Maintenance Fee Credits may be redeemed only for maintenance fees. Resort Maintenance Fee Credits are redeemable for maintenance fees. They have no cash value and any difference will not be refunded. Owners are limited to receiving 400 Resort Maintenance Fee Credits per calendar year. Maintenance Fee Credits may not be transferred. Resort Maintenance Fee Credits issued pursuant to the Friendship Rewards Program expire two (2) years after the expiration date of the Friendship Rewards Program.

MARKETING AND SALES ACTIVITIES

Owners are prohibited from engaging in any advertising or promotions to produce Guest(s) names, including internet advertising or promotions. All marketing and sales information or materials, and all sales negotiations concerning Vistana and its Resorts shall be provided only by Vistana and all offering, negotiation and sale of a Vacation Ownership Interest shall be conducted exclusively by licensed employees of Vistana. Owners may be responsible for complying with any licensing requirements. You are not required to provide any services to Vistana or the Guest in respect to participation in the Friendship Rewards Program. This offer is void where prohibited by law and where state registration and/or licensing requirements have not been met or satisfied. This Program shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
