Our family has created many long-lasting memories vacationing and celebrating, and we became Owners when our niece invited us to Maui to join them for a family vacation with our three daughters. We all loved Maui and decided to purchase property at the Kā’anapali Westin. The next year, we enjoyed our vacation so much, that we purchased the Princeville Westin for the odd years, so we could go to Hawai’i every year if we wanted.
We’ve enjoyed many years of trips to Hawai’i. Each year we’ve travelled, a new family member has been added. The first year, we stayed at our "home" in Kauai. It was our daughter and son-in-law's honeymoon. The next year we spent a week in Kā’anapali with our new granddaughter and mother-in-law. What fun times we had swimming in the ocean, the pool, and enjoying the views. The following year, we returned to Kauai, and I brought my sister and her family with us to learn about the magic of Hawai’i. She now understands my love of the islands. We had a blast celebrating the Fourth of July setting off fireworks and enjoying the stars at night.
The following year, we returned to our favorite beaches in Maui. During this vacation, we extended our stay by using points to stay a few nights at the Maui Sheraton at Black Rock. What a great time we had in the pools and the ocean, swimming and snorkeling. I also discovered a free slack key guitar concert at the Maui Performing Arts Center in Kahului. What a wonderful and spiritual experience it was to listen to the beautiful music of Hawai’i!
When our youngest daughter got married, we thought that the perfect place for her wedding would be the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina. The guests enjoyed their stay, and we all enjoyed the wedding reception. So, as you can see, vacations have become an important part of our family travels and celebrations. We are next planning a family vacation to our favorite resort, The Westin Kā'anapali Ocean Resort Villas in Maui with our new sons-in-law and their parents.
