Check out some of our picks for best new attractions, restaurants and more.
Orlando is already one of the most happening destinations for family fun — no matter what your idea of fun is — and it just keeps getting better.
Toy Story Land
Kids and grown-ups alike will love all there is to discover in long-awaited Toy Story Land, recently opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. See familiar friends like Woody, Buzz and the rest of the gang — even real-life Green Army Men patrolling for fun. Some of the highlights include the Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster, Alien Swirling Saucers, Toy Story Mania!, a midway-style 4D shootin’ game and more, all in a world that immerses you in fun the way only Disney can.
Miss Adventure Falls at Typhoon Lagoon
Disney’s popular Typhoon Lagoon water park is proud to announce a major new addition to its lineup. Miss Adventure Falls is a family-friendly raft odyssey that takes guests for a splash-filled journey on the longest ride at any Disney water park.
Topgolf
Much more than just a driving range, Topgolf takes things to new levels, combining innovative golfing games with an awesome selection of delicious food and drinks, including chicken & waffle sliders, juicy burgers, and hand-crafted cocktails. Tee off and aim for different targets, challenging your speed and accuracy, keeping score through Topgolf’s microchip technology. Or break out the big guns, swinging away for the farthest away targets, seeing how far you can drive.
Guy Fieri’s Chicken Guy!
The Mayor of Flavortown is at it again, expanding his tasty empire in Orlando. Guy Fieri’s new chicken-tender restaurant, named, appropriately, Chicken Guy! has just opened in the friendly confines of Planet Hollywood at Disney Springs. On-the-go visitors can look forward to enjoying savory chicken-tender entrees and sides like fries, slaw and pickle chips and, of course, 22 flavors of dipping sauces curated by the Mayor himself.
Andretti Indoor Karting & Games
Experience “excitement at every turn” at one of Orlando’s newest destinations for high-octane fun. Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, located a stone’s throw from popular International Drive, features state-of-the-art electric go karts with power and acceleration to spare. Don’t feel the need for speed? Enjoy a game at Andretti’s 12-lane boutique bowling alley, arcade with more than 100 games (including the “world’s largest Pac-Man screen”), two-level laser-tag arena, their Sky Trail adventure course with zip line, 12-seat XD Dark Ride — a “7D” motion theater experience that’s part ride, part game, part movie, and fully immersive fun, and much more, along with multiple bar areas and a delicious full-service restaurant.
Coming soon, look for Infinity Falls, SeaWorld’s all-new river ride, and the much-anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, further upping the ante for Orlando fun and entertainment.
