Orlando Sweet Treats

You’re out exploring the theme parks and the craving for something sweet kicks in. Not to worry! These unique spots catering to everything sweet have got you covered.

Sprinkles

Disney Springs, The Landing
The signature red velvet cupcake here is to die for, and actually tastes homemade: it’s soft on the inside and has a dense heft to it. Other offerings include cookies, shakes and slow-churned ice cream in 13 flavors. In a hurry? The shop’s Cupcake ATM dispenses boxed treats 24 hours a day.

Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC

Disney Springs, The Landing
This spot is a dream for people with both a sweet tooth and dietary concerns. Everything is vegan, gluten-free and soy-free, and sweetened with unprocessed sugar or agave. Staff gleefully meet your particular needs as they bake delicious cookies, cupcakes, doughnuts and other goodies throughout the day.

Butterbeer

Universal Orlando, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
In the books and movies, this popular drink has only a tiny trace of alcohol. In the parks, a non-alcoholic version tastes like butterscotch cream soda; the foam atop it is like marshmallow fluff, and served cold, hot or as a frozen slush throughout Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. Try Florian Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Parlour for butterbeer ice cream.

Chocolate Frog

Universal Orlando, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
This sweet is charmed to croak and hop just like a real frog. It comes packaged with a trading card of a famous witch or wizard. In the parks, you can buy them at Honeydukes or Sugarplum’s Sweetshop. Each comes with one of five cards featuring either Dumbledore or a Hogwart’s founder.
