Rest Easy with the Westin Heavenly® Bed
For the past 14 years, Westin Hotels & Resorts have offered a sleep experience like no other for their guests thanks to the Heavenly Bed, launching an entire line of products designed to help you feel your best on vacation — and at home.
As a traveler you’ve likely slept on all types of mattresses — some good, some not so good — on vacation. But when it comes to staying at a Westin hotel or resort, you know you’ll sleep well on the Heavenly Bed, which aims to restore your mind and body each time you sink into its luxurious linens.
Introduced in 1999, the renowned Heavenly Bed was designed with each guest’s wellness in mind, with a custom pillow-top mattress, 250-thread count Egyptian sheets, fluffy down duvet and plush pillows. The bed has been promoting peaceful slumber for millions of travelers ever since.
Inspired by guests who rated a good night’s sleep the most important service a hotel can offer, the Heavenly Bed has become a signature item for Westin hotels. The popularity continued to grow and guests inquired about purchasing a bed of their own. In the year 2000, Westin Hotels & Resorts began offering it through an in-room catalogue before eventually partnering with Nordstrom. The Heavenly Bed is also now sold through Pottery Barn and Amazon, as well as the online Westin store.
Since launching the bed, the brand has exclusively developed an entire Heavenly wellness line, including the Heavenly Crib, the Heavenly Bath and the Heavenly Spa. And in 2013, Westin partnered with Delta to bring the Heavenly bedding experience to the airline’s BusinessElite® cabins, providing Heavenly bedding on all BusinessElite International flights, as well as BusinessElite flights between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle, and between Atlanta and Honolulu.
With more than half a million Heavenly products sold since 2000, the line continues to help guests experience the “Westin Essence” at home.
